Create your first workspace

Before you start

Use Scoped Cloud in your browser if you want a hosted workspace without operating PostgreSQL. You will need an email address you can verify. For desktop, check current release and storage options in the desktop requirements before installing.

Create and verify your account

1. Open Sign up and complete the account form.
2. Follow the verification email to confirm your address. Check spam if it does not arrive.
3. Sign in and follow the workspace setup. Cloud creates your first workspace and a default team as part of signup.
4. Check the workspace name before adding client records or inviting other people.

You should arrive in your own workspace with access to its work and settings. Keep your account credentials private; teammates should have their own accounts.

Invite your team

1. Open Members in the workspace you want to share.
2. As an owner or admin, choose Invite and enter your teammate’s email address and intended role.
3. Create the invitation. The teammate follows their invitation and completes the account steps.
4. Check Members again to confirm they joined the right workspace.

If you get stuck

If verification or an invitation fails, check that you used the latest link and the intended email address. Ask the workspace owner for a fresh invitation if it expired. Avoid repeatedly requesting password-reset emails.
