Plan and track project work
Organize issues, ownership, status, and initiatives so your team can pick up the next step.
Before you start
Choose the workspace and team where the work belongs. If this is client work won through the sales pipeline, create the project from the deal to retain the connection.
Set up the project
- Open Projects and create a project, or open the project created from a won deal.
- Give it a clear name and useful description of the intended outcome.
- Review the team, status, and any client or deal links before planning tasks.
Give the work owners
- Create issues for concrete pieces of work and associate them with the project.
- Give each issue a useful title, an owner where appropriate, and a priority that reflects the plan.
- Use descriptions and comments to capture decisions and the context needed to continue.
For example, a kitchen remodel might start with issues to confirm the selections, order the cabinets, and book the install week. These are tasks your team creates, not a pre-generated project template.
Keep progress current
Click an editable table value to change status, responsibility, dates, and other supported fields. Use Enter or Save to commit, Escape to cancel, or move focus out to save a changed value. A failed save keeps the draft visible so you can correct it. The name or identifier opens details; the pencil next to a name edits it. Keep discussions on the relevant issue and review recent activity before handing it to someone else. Focus helps you return to work that needs attention. A connected agent can read context and return permitted updates, but it runs in its own environment.
Connect a larger initiative
Use Initiatives to group projects contributing to a broader outcome. Review the projects and the related deals and companies behind the initiative. Keep individual issues in the projects where people do the work. Initiatives are on by default; you can hide them in your personal Preferences without deleting existing initiative links.
If a project appears missing, check workspace, team, filters, and archive state before recreating it. Contact support if you still cannot find expected work.
