LESSON 1 OF 7
Getting around Scoped
Know where to keep client information, plan work, and review updates.
Overview
Scoped brings client relationships and the work you deliver into one workspace. Start with the record that matches the decision you need to make: a contact for a person, a deal for an opportunity, or an issue for an individual task.
A project gathers the issues for one job. An initiative connects projects to a broader goal, and a cycle groups a team’s work into a defined period. These views connect the same work so you can move between the detail and the bigger picture.
Before you start
Sign in to your workspace. If you belong to more than one, choose the workspace you want to explore.
1Check your workspace
Look at the workspace selector before making a change. Use the Teams section to narrow the work you see to a particular team.
2Explore the work views
Open Issues, Projects, and Initiatives. Notice how a task belongs to a job, and how several jobs can contribute to a broader outcome. If Initiatives is hidden, check your personal Preferences.
3Explore your client records
Under Clients, open Companies, Contacts, and Deals. Companies hold the relationship, Contacts hold the people, and Deals track opportunities. Follow-ups record the next client action.
4Know where to review updates
Open Inbox for issues that need triage and Notifications for activity relevant to you. Return to the record that fits the work you want to begin.
Put it into practice
You know where to keep client context, plan delivery, and review the changes that need your attention.
